Anime Expo 2017 to Host Zelda Manga's Akira Himekawa, Add Preview Night on Day 0

Emcees Tony Oliver and Courtney Kraft announced at Anime Expo's Closing Ceremonies on Monday that next year's event will run from July 1 to July 4, 2017 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. In addition, the convention will formally include a preview night a day before on June 30.
Anime Expo's Director of Entertainment Jon Baumgardner also announced during the Closing Ceremonies that next year's convention will host Akira Himekawa, the manga creator duo known for their manga adaptations of Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda games. Most recenly, the two creators have been drawing a manga of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess game.
Anime Expo celebrated its 25th anniversary with this year's event, which took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on July 1-4.
