Japanese publisher Dogenzaka Lab released M2's Malus Code kinetic horror visual novel on Steam on May 6. Dogenzaka Lab previously streamed a trailer for the game in April.
Malus Code is available on Steam for US$12.99 (or 1,280 yen in Japan). The visual novel includes Japanese voice acting for the three main heroines, animation using M2's E-mote 2D animation software, a Japanese vocal opening theme, and text language options that include English, Japanese with furigana, Japanese without furigana, Japanese in hiragana, and Japanese in romaji.
Steam describes the game:
Do you like extreme situations?
In order to study thermophiles that prefer high temperatures, Will decides to study at a university in Japan due to the many hot springs there. Amidst the cherry blossom trees, he encounters three partners in his lab. How will they spend their time together, and what conclusion will they reach? You have to see for yourself.
