AFA's SOZO, Sony Music Entertainment Japan Form Capital Alliance

New business relationship allows SOZO to expand S.E. Asian business
Sony Music Entertainment Japan Inc. and Singaporean events and marketing agency Sozo Pte. Ltd. announced last week that both companies will form a capital alliance. The new business relationship aims to "further expand the reach of Japanese Pop Culture in South East Asia," and will allow SOZO to continue expanding its regional business.
SOZO organizes the Anime Festival Asia conventions, which are held annually in Singapore, Bangkok, and Jakarta, and are one of the largest anime and Japanese pop-culture conventions outside Japan. 2015's Anime Festival Asia in Singapore drew 90,669 visitors. Aside from Anime Festival Asia and its attached I Love Anisong label, it also owns JLive Asia, and organizes the Japan Music Festival brand.
