Live-Action Orange Film Tops Box Office with 312 Million Yen

The live-action film of Ichigo Takano's Orange manga sold 261,779 tickets on 303 screens to earn 311,778,900 yen (about US$2.558 million) and open at #1 at the Japanese box office this past weekend.
Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Ghost & Drive Chō Movie Taisen Genesis, the seventh Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider Movie Taisen entry, also opened this past weekend at #4. In two days, it sold 181,551 tickets for 222,802,100 yen (US$1.828 million) on 292 screens.
The Girls und Panzer film dropped from #7 to #8 in its fourth weekend in 77 theaters, but its ticket total and box office earnings were actually higher in its fourth weekend than in its third weekend.
High Speed! -Free! Starting Days- dropped from #5 to #9 in its second weekend.
