Yousei Teikoku to Perform at A-Kon in Dallas

Texas anime convention A-Kon announced on Monday that it will host the band Yousei Teikoku for a one-night performance at the convention's 2016 event. The band will appear by arrangement with EN Entertainment. Voice actress Yui Itsuki, the band's lead singer, will also host an autograph and Q&A session.
Yousei Teikoku, whose name means "Fairy Empire," formed in 1997. The group's style combines a gothic lolita fashion with a sound inspired from both classical and heavy metal music. The band has performed theme songs for various anime including the opening themes for Future Diary, Innocent Venus, and Qwaser of Stigmata, and the ending themes for Venus Versus Virus, Katanagatari, Tokyo ESP, and Garo the Animation, among others.
The band released its latest album SHADOW CORPS[e] on August 5.
A-kon will be held at Hilton Anatole Dallas from June 3 to June 5 next year. Other announced guests include voice actors Todd Haberkorn Morgan Berry, and Kristen McGuire.
