Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster Game's 4th Developer Video Streamed
posted on by Kyle Hallmark
CAPCOM began streaming the fourth installment of the Resident Evil 0 (Biohazard 0 in Japan) HD remaster developer diary on Friday.
The video features interviews with staff members, many of whom worked on the original Resident Evil 0, about the making of the original and remastered versions of the game.
CAPCOM previously streamed the first developer diary in August and the second and third diaries in October.
CAPCOM announced in September that it will release Resident Evil Origins Collection, a retail bundle of the HD-remastered Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 games for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, in North America on January 19, 2016. (Japan and Europe will receive the collection on January 19 and 22, respectively.) Resident Evil 0 will also be available for download on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
CAPCOM also streamed a trailer that previews the game's Wesker Mode in September. CAPCOM describes the mode:
For the first time ever in Resident Evil 0 players can experience the events leading up to the iconic mansion outbreak playing as alternative character Albert Wesker, alongside S.T.A.R.S. member Rebecca Chambers. Both characters will star in a special themed outfit for the mode with Wesker replacing the traditional gameplay role of Billy Coen. Check out the brand new video for a tease of the amazing powers Wesker can bring to the gameplay.
CAPCOM previously streamed a preview video of the game in June.
CAPCOM originally released Resident Evil 0 on the Nintendo Gamecube platform in 2002. The game's story is set before the events of the first Resident Evil survival horror game. Players switch between controlling officer Rebecca Chambers and death row convict Billy Coen as they progress through the game.
CAPCOM already released the remastered version of the original Resident Evil game by itself in January.
