The November issue of Kadokawa's Newtype magazine is revealing on Saturday that Square Enix will publish a setting material collection book for its Lord of Vermilion arcade trading card game series titled Lord of Vermilion I II III Ultimate ARCANA Archives on February 10. The magazine also reveals that the book will bundle a DVD that includes a version of the special anime video that began streaming on the official Lord of Vermilion III website in September. The new version will be over 10 minutes long and will include previously unseen scenes.
Seven Arcs Pictures (Mushibugyō, Dog Days'', Trinity Seven) produced the video.
The book itself will contain 272 pages, and will cost 4,500 yen (about US$37).
Square Enix launched the Lord of Vermilion fantasy collectible card game in June 2008, and the game has since spawned the Lord of Vermilion II, Lord of Vermilion Re: 2, and Lord of Vermilion III sequels, as well as the Lord of Vermilion Arena Windows PC game.
