Anime's main voice actresses perform "Vital Exercise" opening theme for October 12 anime

Comic Earth Star began streaming a commercial for the upcoming Ani Tore! EX (Anime De Training! Ex or Training Through Anime! EX) on Monday. The video reveals and previews the anime's opening theme "Vital Exercise," performed by Miku Itō, Azumi Waki, Kanon Takao, Maria Naganawa, and Miyu Komaki, who voice the anime's five main characters.

The anime's official website previously announced the anime's main cast:

Miku Itō (Wanna Be the Strongest in the World's Yūho Mochizuki, Million Doll's Mariko) as Asami Hoshi

Azumi Waki (The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls' Sanae Katagiri, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid's Luka) as Eri Higuchi

Miyu Komaki as Shizuno Saotome

Maria Naganawa (Invaders of the Rokujyōma!?'s Theia, Fushigi na Somera-chan's Ai Matsushima) as Shion Tachibana

Kanon Takao as Yū Hiraoka

The anime follows five young women who are aiming to become idols as they do different exercise routines such as push-ups, situps, dance, yoga, stretching, Tai Chi, and more. The official website revealed the main characters in August.

Atsushi Nigorikawa (episode director for Naruto/Naruto Shippūden, Inazuma Eleven) is directing the anime at Rising Force, and Daisuke Ishibashi (Tenjho Tenge, Papuwa, Battle Spirits: Heroes) is writing the scripts and handling the series composition. Masahito Onoda (No-Rin) handled the original character design, and Shūhei Yamamoto (Strike Witches 2, Infinite Stratos) is adapting those designs for animation and also serving as animation director. Satoshi Shibata (art director for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Eyeshield 21) is handling the art setting, Akihiro Nakagawa (Hyperdimension Neptunia, Mushibugyō) is handling the color key, and FMF is producing the music.

The series will premiere on Tokyo MX TV, Sun TV, and Niconico on October 12.
