Southeast Asian channel Aniplus HD announced on its Facebook page on Friday that it will begin airing Diabolik Lovers More, Blood TV anime—the second season of the Diabolik Lovers TV anime—on October 8. The anime will air at 10:00 p.m. in Indonesia and Thailand, and at 11:00 p.m. in Singapore.

The anime's official Japanese website previously streamed the first promotional video for the anime, focusing on the Sakamaki brothers.

The series premiered in Japan on AT-X on September 23. It will also air on Tokyo MX on October 4, and stream on Niconico in Japan.

The first season's assistant director Risako Yoshida is replacing Shinobu Tagashira as the main director at the studio ZEXCS, and Hiroko Kanasugi (My mental choices are completely interfering with my school romantic comedy) is replacing Seiko Nagatsu as the series script supervisor. However, character designer Yūko Yahiro (B Gata H Kei - Yamada’s First Time, Lady Jewelpet) is returning to adapt Satoi's game illustrations.

Also returning are the main cast members:

Joining the main cast are Takahiro Sakurai as Ruki Mukami, Ryōhei Kimura as Kou Mukami, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Yūma Mukami, Daisuke Kishio as Azusa Mukami, and others. They play the Mukami vampire brothers who first appeared in the Diabolik Lovers More, Blood fan disc.

The show's opening theme, titled "Kindan no 666" (The Forbidden 666) and performed by Ryōhei Kimura and Daisuke Kishio, will serve as the character song for new characters Kou and Azusa Mukami (voiced by Kimura and Kishio, respectively).

Rejet's original Diabolik Lovers vampire drama CD and PSP game project centers around the six sadistic Sakamaki vampire brothers. Yui Komori is a positive-thinking girl who nevertheless is troubled by seeing spirits and experiencing poltergeist phenomena. In her second year in high school, she transfers to a new school — a night school for entertainers and celebrities — due to her father's work. There are rumors that there are vampires among the student body, and Yui ends up living with the Sakamaki brothers.

The studio ZEXCS adapted the franchise into the first television anime season in 2013. Aniplus HD aired the anime as it aired in Japan.

The franchise also inspired a stage play that ran in Tokyo on August 26-30.
