Voice Actress Sayaka Horino Takes Hiatus Due to Health
posted on by Egan Loo
The voice-acting production agency DSE announced on Tuesday that voice actress Sayaka Horino is going on hiatus. The agency explained that after being hospitalized in August, she has continued to suffer from mental stress, and therefore has not completely recovered her health.
After she consulted with her agency, they have decided that she cannot continue working in her current state. Therefore, they have decided that she is going on hiatus from work to focus on her treatment.
DSE apologized to all the fans who were looking forward to her appearances on Niconico Live streaming programs and other events. After carefully gauging her ongoing recovery, they hope she will stand once more before her fans.
Horino played Mikine Nezu in the Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san anime and Mayotama in I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying last year. She has since starred in the I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying: 2nd Thread sequel and most recently, Satsuki Nakano in this summer's Danchigai.
