The October issue of Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Rex magazine is announcing on Thursday that the launch of Sō Ueto's manga adaptation of the The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls anime has been delayed.
The magazine noted that the manga's launch was delayed to ensure the quality of the manga, and the staff apologized to the readers who had been waiting for the launch. The manga is now slated to launch in the January issue of Monthly Comic Rex, which Ichijinsha will publish on November 27.
The manga is based on the television anime's original story by Yuniko Ayana. It was originally slated to launch on July 27.
The second season of The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls premiered in Japan on July 17. Daisuki streamed the first 13-episode season as it aired worldwide (except in some regions).
Several manga adaptations of The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls franchise already exist, and Ichijinsha has released manga anthologies for the franchise as well.
