Super Robot Wars BX Game's TV Commercial Streamed

Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming a TV commercial for its Super Robot Wars BX Nintendo 3DS game on Thursday. The commercial accompanies launch of the game.
The game shipped in Japan on Thursday for 6,640 yen (about US$55) for the download edition or the package edition.
Those who receive first copies of the game will receive five bonuses: a download code for the NES/Famicom version of Dai-2-ji Super Robot Wars for the Nintendo 3DS, a Nintendo 3DS theme, a campaign map, a skill item, and Tsume Super (puzzle levels with specific objectives, often with only one precise way to win).
The game has unveiled mecha from 16 robot anime and game titles, including five that are new to the game franchise. The anime are:

- Macross Frontier: Itsuwari no Utahime
- Macross Frontier: Sayonara no Tsubasa
- Macross 30 ~Ginga o Tsunagu Utagoe~*
- Mazinger Edition Z: The Impact!
- Mazinkaizer SKL
- Martian Successor Nadesico

The Super Robot Wars games allow players to command mecha from various Japanese anime series in tactical battles. The latest game in the series, 3rd Super Robot Wars Z: Tengoku Arc, shipped in Japan on April 2 for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita.
Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed Super Robot Wars X-Ω, the first smartphone game in the franchise, last month.
