Spring 2014 anime adapts dating simulation game
Sentai Filmworks announced on Tuesday that it has licensed the anime La Corda d'Oro Blue Sky and plans to release the series digitally and on home video.
The La Corda d'Oro Blue Sky anime adapts Koei Tecmo Games' Kin-iro no Corda 3 (La Corda D'Oro 3) dating simulation game. The game's story follows a girl named Kanade and her relationships with the orchestra members and other boys at her school.
Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan last spring.
The game franchise already inspired a television anime series in 2006, and a television special sequel, La Corda D'Oro ~secondo passo~, aired in spring of 2009. Sentai Filmworks also licensed and released the first series.
