posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
This year's 26th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will announce on Monday that CAPCOM's upcoming Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi action game will offer character costumes based on the Resident Evil series as paid downloadable content.
The costumes include Maeda Keiji dressed as Resident Evil 5's Chris Redfield, Katakura Kojūrō as Resident Evil 4's Leon Kennedy, Matsunaga Hisahide as Resident Evil 5's Albert Wesker, and Saika Magoichi as Resident Evil 3's Jill Valentine.
The game is an update of Sengoku Basara 4 and will feature new generals, as well as crossover costumes with musician T.M. Revolution and game series Tales of Zestiria.
CAPCOM previously streamed a promotional video for the game last month. The company also began streaming an animated clip from the game on Friday.
CAPCOM is releasing the game on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 to celebrate the franchise's 10th anniversary. The game is slated for a July 23 release.
The franchise inspired three television series and Sengoku Basara - Samurai Kings: The Movie.
