Sword Art Online: Lost Song Game Adds Yuuki as Playable Character

Bandai Namco announced at the Dengeki Bunko Spring Festival in Akihabara on Sunday that Yuuki will join the Sword Art Online: Lost Song PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita game as a playable character. The staff also announced crossover plans with God Eater 2: Rage Burst. Kirito will get a Julius costume and Asuna will get an Alina costume. The characters in God Eater 2: Rage Burst Kirito and Sinon costumes.
Yuuki (voiced in the TV anime by Aoi Yūki) will be playable at the start of the game.
A tentative boss design was also shown at the event.
The staff already announced the new characters Seven and Rain. Kadokawa's Dengeki PlayStation magazine confirmed in November that Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment's Philia (voiced by Yui Ishikawa) will appear in the game. Philia first appeared in the Hollow Area of the earlier Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment game that shipped last year.
Bandai Namco Games is localizing the game in English and Chinese for Asian markets. Bandai Namco Games' Yōsuke Futami said that Lost Song's English translation will be better than Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment.
Sword Art Online: Lost Song's PlayStation 3 version will cost 7,120 yen (about US$66), and the PlayStation Vita version will cost 6,170 yen (US$57). A limited edition that includes box art by abec, an original soundtrack CD, a Blu-ray Disc with special content, a mini-clear poster, and a special booklet will retail at 9,980 yen (US$92). The game will ship in Japan on March 26.
Bandai Namco Games unveiled the game's development at the 2014 Tokyo Game Show stage event on September 19. Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online light novel series already inspired the Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment and Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment games for the PlayStation Vita system. The light novels also inspired two television anime series.
