Saki Fujita Sings, Toshiyuki Toyonaga Writes Durarara!!×2 Song

The official website for Durarara!!×2 posted a preview for the background song "little world" on Wednesday. Saki Fujita, the voice of Ruri Hijiribe, will perform the song written by Toshiyuki Toyonaga, the voice of Mikado Ryūgamine. The song will be included on Toyonaga's debut album, Reason..., which ships on Wednesday.
OKAMOTO'S will perform the opening theme "Headhunt" and Three Lights Down Kings will perform the ending theme "Never Say Never."
Takahiro Ōmori is directing the anime at new studio Shuka with series composition by Noboru Takagi. Takahiro Kishida is designing the characters for the series, and Makoto Yoshimori is providing the music. Eri Yamazaki is designing the props, Hiromi Miyawaki is in charge of the color key, Norikazu Kamibayashi is serving as CG producer, Kazuhiko Seki is editing, Jin Tamura is in charge of photography, and the name of the animation's production group will be Ikebukuro Dollars (the same as the first season). The main cast from the original anime is returning to reprise their roles.

Shōzō Iizuka as Dogen Awakusu, the head of the Medei Group's Awakusu organization
Toshiyuki Morikawa as Егор (Egor), the assassin who came from Russia
Satoshi Mikami as слон (Sloan), a giant man who joins Vorona
Atsumi Tanezaki as Emilia, Shingen's wife after remarrying
Kiyoyuki Yanada as Shu Aozaki, a leader in the Medei Group's Awakusu organization
Durarara!!×2 adapts Ryohgo Narita's original light novels and and is the sequel to 2010's Durarara!! television anime. The series will premiere in January and stream on in North America on the Aniplex Channel, Hulu, and Crunchyroll.
