Phantasy Star Online 2 Stage Play's Promo, Cast Comment Video Streamed

Sega began streaming a promotional video on Wednesday for its upcoming Phantasy Star Online 2 stage play, "Phantasy Star Online 2-ON STAGE-". The video features the cast members in costume:
The video also unveils the story of the play. The story revolves around normal male high school student Takaya, who logs into Phantasy Star Online 2 in order to adventure with his friends. However, all of a sudden, the player avatars within the game begin to go berserk.
The company is also streaming a cast comment video with cast members Shouta Aoi, Emi Nitta, and Koharu Kusumi.
Tickets to see the play will come with a bonus item code that lets attendees download a female and male Hoshihama Academy uniform costume, as well as a “voice ticket” for Shouta Aoi and Emi Nitta, and a one-time use item called a, “Color Change Pass.”

The play will run from December 4 to 7 at the Aoyama Theater in Japan, and is the first project for the 15th anniversary of Phantasy Star Online. Series producer Satoshi Sakai and series director Yuya Kimura will supervise the stage play, and Masahiro Nakayama will produce.
Phantasy Star Online 2 was released for Windows PC in Japan in 2012, followed by a PlayStation Vita release in 2013, and an Android and iOS release this past May. The game collaborated with Type-Moon's Fate/stay night and Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya franchises as well as the third Puella Magi Madoka Magica film to add themed costumes, items, and voices last year.
