Band Maximum The HORMONE's Member Ryo-kun Hospitalized For Meningitis

Rock band Maximum The Hormone announced on Monday that member Maximum the Ryo-kun (seen at far right) has been admitted to the hospital for meningitis. Due to the member's hospitalization, the band has canceled its live appearances on November 12, 13, and 16.
According to the band, Ryo-kun began to feel painful headaches beginning on November 7, and he ended up getting checked up at the hospital. After being diagnosed with meningitis, he was hospitalized, and is scheduled to be released in two weeks at the earliest.
The appearances that will be canceled are as follows:
November 12 - SiM "i AGAINST i" TOUR 2014 at Takamatsu's Olive Hall
November 13 - SiM "i AGAINST i" TOUR 2014 at Hiroshima's CLUB QUATTRO
November 16 - "KNOTFEST JAPAN 2014" at Chiba's Makuhari Messe
The other band members noted that they will return once Ryo-kun has completely recovered, and they will inform fans of updates from the doctor when Ryo-kun is released from the hospital.
Maximum The Hormone has performed theme songs for such anime as Air Master, Death Note, as well as Tohai Densetu Akagi -Yamini Maiorita Tensai-. They performed at New York City's Best Buy Theater last month.
