God Eater 2 Rage Burst Game Previewed in New TV Spot

Bandai Namco Games began streaming a TV spot promoting its upcoming God Eater 2 Rage Burst video game for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on Sunday. The spot confirms that the game will be released in Japan on February 19, 2015.
The video hints at a new story, as well as new action, and also notes that it is the final chapter of God Eater 2. The game will include new features, including a new scenario, a new weapon called a "Valiant Scythe," as well as a new action system called, "Blood Rain." Players will be able to move over save data from their PSP to the PS Vita version, but not to the PlayStation 4 version. The PS Vita version will be able to share data with the PlayStation 4.
The game will ship in Japan on February 19, 2015, with copies of the PS Vita version retailing for 5,690 (about US$55), and the PlayStation 4 version selling for 6,640 yen (about US$65).
A television anime adaptation of the God Eater franchise was announced at this year's Tokyo Game Show. Takayuki Hirao will direct the anime at ufotable with character designs by Keita Shimizu (Tales of Phantasia, ToHeart2 key animation) and music by Gō Shiina (Kyousogiga, God Eater games).
