Type-0's Hajime Tabata takes over as Nomura focuses on Kingdom Hearts III
Square-Enix debuted a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV at Tokyo Game Show 2014 on Thursday, and also announced that Hajime Tabata (Final Fantasy Type-0) is replacing Tetsuya Nomura as the director of the role-playing game.
Square-Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda assured that the development team is still working hard towards the completion of the game under Tabata. Nomura will instead focus his efforts on Kingdom Hearts III, although his original contributions to Final Fantasy XV in story, world-building, and characters will still remain.
Square-Enix also confirmed that it will release Final Fantasy Type-0 HD in March with a chance for players to try a "Episode Duscae" demo of Final Fantasy XV.
