Sora x Lila ~Sora-iro no Lila to Okubyō na Boku~ follows boy whose childhood friend comes back an alien
The preview for volume 114 of Futabasha's Comic High! magazine is listing that Yuna Kagesaki (Chibi Vampire, AiON) will begin a new series in the magazine titled Sora x Lila ~Sora-iro no Lila to Okubyō na Boku~ (Sky x Lila ~The Sky-Colored Lila and the Cowardly Me~). The manga will be featured on the cover of the issue, and will also have color introductory pages at the beginning of the magazine. The tagline for the series reads, “My girlfriend became an alien and came home!?”
The story of the bitter-sweet romantic-comedy manga revolves around Shū, a shy middle school boy who had an unrequited love toward his childhood friend, Sora. One day, she suddenly goes missing, but when she comes back, she's become an alien!
Manga publisher Tokyopop licensed Kagesaki's Chibi Vampire and AiON manga in North America, and released all of Chibi Vampire and AiON's first three compiled volumes before shutting down its North American manga publishing division in May 2011. Viz began releasing Chibi Vampire on the Amazon Kindle store in March.
Update: Additional licensing information added. Thanks, zensunni.
