Taiwanese Live Action Skip Beat Streaming on DramaFever

International video streaming site DramaFever confirmed on August 12 that it will stream the Taiwanese live-action adaptation of Yoshiki Nakamura's romantic comedy manga Skip Beat!.
The first ten episodes of the drama began streaming on August 13. The drama premiered in December 2011 in Taiwan and has a total of 23 episodes.
DramaFever gives the synopsis:
Desperate to capture the heart of her friend, Gong Xi (Ivy Chen) gives up on college to support Bu Puo Shang's (Lee Dong Hae) dream of stardom. Through odd jobs, Gong Xi launches Shang into fame, only to be betrayed. Vowing vengeance, Gong Xi auditions for the biggest talent agency, determined to out-shine her backstabbing friend. Meanwhile, fellow talent Dun He Lian (Choi Si Won) disapproves of Gong Xi's motives, but can't help but fall for her. Revenge never tasted so sweet!
The Skip Beat! original manga debuted in 2002 and ran in Hakusensha's shōjo magazine Hana to Yume, and an anime adaptation premiered in 2008. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. Hakusensha shipped the 34th compiled volume in July, and will ship the 35th in September. Viz will release the 33rd compiled volume in North America on September 2.
DramaFever has also streamed live-action shōjo manga adaptations of Itazura na Kiss and Hana Zakari no Kimi-tachi e (Hana-Kimi).
