Hatsune Miku Project mirai Heads to the West & Asia in 2015
posted on by Egan Loo
Sega announced on Wednesday that it will release the Nintendo 3DS game Hatsune Miku Project mirai Remix in the West and Asia next year. As described during the "Sega feat. Hatsune Miku Project 5th Anniversary Special Talk Show," the release will be a localized complete edition of Japan's Hatsune Miku Project mirai rhythm game series with some additional music videos, room events, and other elements already included.
The Japanese games feature music from Hatsune Miku and other Vocaloid singers, but with designs of Good Smile Company's Nendoroid dolls. Wednesday's announcement did not specify if the localized Remix edition will be based on the first Hatsune Miku and Future stars Project mirai game, or the Hatsune Miku Project Mirai 2 sequel. More details will be announced in the future.
Hatsune Miku and Future stars Project mirai shipped in Japan in 2012, and Hatsune Miku Project Mirai 2 shipped last November. Below is a promotional video for the second game:
