Anime Expo to Premiere Yamato 2199, Ninja Slayer Trailers

Anime Expo will unveil trailers for two upcoming Starblazers 2199 (Uchū Senkan Yamato 2199) films and Studio Trigger's Ninja Slayer anime.
The Starblazers 2199 trailers will be screened at the convention on Saturday, July 5. The compilation film Uchū Senkan Yamato 2199: Tsuioku no Kōkai (Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Voyage of Remembrance) will premiere in JApan on October 11. The brand-new film Uchū Senkan Yamato 2199: Hoshi-Meguru Hakobune (Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Star-Voyaging Ark) will then premiere on December 6.
Studio Trigger will showcase Ninja Slayer at their panel discussion on July 3 with the world premiere on the anime's promotional trailer.
The "cyberpunk ninja action drama" is set in the near-future city of Neo Saitama, where ninja souls have been unleashed. The story follows Fujikido Kenji, a salaryman whose wife and children were killed in a ninja battle. He is then possessed by a ninja soul and becomes a Ninja Slayer, devoted to killing all ninja to avenge his family.
