The European arm of Tecmo KOEI began streaming the official English-dubbed trailer and several gameplay videos for its Atelier Rorona Plus: The Alchemist of Arland game for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on Friday. Tecmo KOEI will release the game (known as Shin Rorona no Atelier: Hajimari no Monogatari ~Arland no Renkinjutsushi~ in Japan) in North America on June 24, and in Europe on June 20.

The game will be available at retail for PlayStation 3 and via the PlayStation Store for PS Vita. In addition to the English dub, it will retain the Japanese soundtrack.
Gust's 2013 remake of its 2009 RPG features improved graphics, as well as a new anime sequence. The remake also adds new events, extended time feature in battles, item cultivation, a time capsule, playable characters (including Rorona's apprentice and grand-apprentice Totori and Meruru, as well as the Arland knight Esty), and costumes.
Players can cultivate a garden outside their Atelier and place items in a time capsule sent from the future by Astrid, which will alter the items as it carries them through time and space. Since the remake's system is based on the one in the Atelier Meruru Plus port, it supports costume changes. Finally, it implements Cross-Save support and more trophies.
