Furyu began streaming character promotional videos for the To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness: Battle Ecstasy PlayStation Vita game's Golden Darkness (voiced by Misato Fukuen) and Mea Kurosaki (Yuka Iguchi) on Tuesday.
In Golden Darkness' video, Rito tells her that things won't go like before, and he demands that she return "Trouble Quest 2" to him.
In Mea's video, after she says that it been a long time since they last met, Rito expresses his surprise that Mea has also come to the world he is in.
The "ultra-pleasant harem action" game has an action part in which the player helps the heroines defeat monsters in dungeons. Characters can be outfitted with different battle items to change attacks. The game also has a home part in which the player interacts with the heroines "captured" in the action part.
The 3D game will arrive in Japan for the PS Vita on Thursday. The regular edition will cost 6,980 yen (about US$70), while the limited edition will cost 8,980 yen (US$90) and the download will cost 6,463 yen (US$65). The limited edition will include exclusive illustrated packaging, Golden Darkness sleeping sheets, a Momo cord reel, and a product code to unlock an original "sexy apron" costume. People who pre-order will receive a product code to download an original maid outfit costume.
The manga, a sequel of the first To Love-Ru -Trouble- series, launched in Jump Square in 2010. The ninth compiled book volume of Saki Hasemi and Kentarō Yabuki's manga bundled an anime DVD on December 4. Sentai Filmworks licensed last year's television anime adaptation of the manga, and The Anime Network streamed the series in North America.
