Nekogoze follows female assassin from cat society who fights members of her former gang
The Orutana - Ugawa Hiroki Tanpen-Shū 2 book is announcing on Friday that Hiroki Ugawa (Shrine of the Morning Mist) will launch a manga, tentatively titled Nekogoze (Feline Blind Woman), in Shonengahosha's Monthly Young King Ours GH magazine this summer. More information on the serialization will be made available on the author's blog and/or Twitter account when updates are made.
The manga revolves around a former female assassin who got out of the number one assassin's group in feline society. When she is chased by members of her former group, the blood bath of killing begins.
Ugawa's 2001 manga Asagiri no Miko (Priestesses of the Morning Mist) was adapted into a 12-episode television anime in 2002 starring Rie Kanda, Sayaka Ohara, Mayumi Asano, and Megumi Hayashibara. Tokyopop once published the manga in North America, and Media Blasters licensed the anime for North American home video release.
