posted on by Egan Loo
Square Enix announced on Tuesday that it is bringing its Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call game to North America and Europe this year. The Nintendo 3DS rhythm game sequel will collect 221 songs from the Final Fantasy video games series from Square Enix (formerly Square Soft), and will have appearances by over 60 characters. It will also add a Versus Mode, allowing players to challenge their friends to rhythm game battles.
The game is shipping in Japan on Thursday by itself and with its own exclusive Nintendo 3DS XL variant. Square Enix filed a trademark for the title Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call in the United States last August. The first Final Fantasy Theatrhythm game game came out on February 16, 2012 in Japan and on July 3, 2012 in North America.
