Comcept, the company of game developer Keiji Inafune (Rockman/Megaman), began streaming more footage of Inafune playing the α2 ROM of his game Mighty No. 9. The video features English subtitles.
Comcept is also streaming an interview with original Mega Man soundtrack composer Manami Matsumae.
Inafune and his company raised over US$3.5 million in its crowdfunding campaign in October. The side-scrolling adventure will be released for PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
Alongside Inafune, Naoya Tomita (Mega Man level design, Mega Man 2 stages, Mega Man 5 & 8 character designs) will be designing the game, and Takenori Kimoto a.k.a. "Kimo Kimo" (Darkstalkers 3, Vampire Hunter 2 character design) is designing the characters. Original Mega Man soundtrack composer Manami Matsumae will be providing the music.
In addition to the game, Inafune is in talks with Contradiction Films writer and producer Tim Carter for a possible Mighty No. 9 live-action adaptation.
His team now aims to release the game in spring 2015 for the PC with gamepad support.
