posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
Distributor TOHO began streaming two promotional videos for next month's first Blu-ray Disc/DVD volume for the Engaged to the Unidentified anime on Sunday. The videos preview the bundled "Mite. Are ga Watashi-tachi no Tomatteiru Ryokan yo." (Look. That is the Japanese Inn Where We Are Staying.) original video anime and a karaoke video for the included "Message!" character song CD.
In the first video, the characters visit the hot springs town of Uma no Sato, meet the area's mascot, stay in a Japanese inn, and discuss the area's urban legends.
The first of six total home video releases will ship on March 19. The release will also include a music video for the "Tomadoi→Recipe" song, as well as a character song CD, and a collection of four-panel illustrations of next episode previews.
First limited editions will also include an application for priority tickets for an event, and a digipak case.
The show centers on first-year high school student Kobeni Yonomori. On her 16th birthday, a young man with little presence named Hakuya Mitsumine and his little sister Mashiro suddenly appear in front of her. It turns out that Hakuya is her fiancé, and Mashiro is her future sister-in-law. The three (and Konbeni's big sister Benio) start living together underneath the same roof, and hilarious happenings occur.
The television anime series premiered in Japan on January 8. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs and Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series for home video.
