UK Animax Site Available Through PS3 (Updated)

Can be found under PS3's 'TV/video services' functionality.

The website U.K. Anime News reports that the U.K version of the Animax website has now launched on the PlayStation 3 console. According to the report, the site can be found under the PS3's 'TV/video services' functionality, and offers the same anime titles as the internet site.

Update - In a press release, Animax added, 'PS3 Users can download the Animax app by heading over to My Channels on the XMB of PlayStation store. Existing Animax users will be able to stream their favourite shows on their television sets straight away, and new users need only register at www.animaxtv.co.uk to access the premium content. To celebrate the launch on PS3, Animax is offering new users 50% off the regular £5.99 monthly fee for the first 3 months of their subscription.'
