Doki Doki Festival in Manchester on Saturday

The Doki Doki festival will take place in Manchester on Saturday November 9, ticket details here. It will run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sugden Sports Centre (scroll down for map). The line-up includes talks, panels, workshops, film screenings and a cosplay competition.
The film screenings include Mamoru Hosoda's The Wolf Children, the CGI fantasy Oblivion Island and the action film 009 Re:Cyborg.
There will be a dance performance by British idol Beckii Cruel, and a live performance by J-pop singer Naomi Suzuki.
There is also an evening cosplay party, restricted to over-18s, taking place at the Manchester Metropolitan University Students' Union, around the corner from the main venue. It runs from 9 p.m until 2 a.m. Tickets cost £1 (cosplayers or Early Bird ticket holders) or £2, and must be bought on the door. The party is organised in conjuction with the Manchester University Japanimation Society (MUJS).
