Kuroko's Basketball Voice Actor Yuuki Ono Released From Hospital After Surgery
posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Voice actor Yūki Ono reported on Twitter on Tuesday that he had gone to the hospital and underwent surgery to fix his fractured left collarbone after falling and injuring himself during a game of indoor soccer (futsal). Ono was hospitalized for a few days, but has been discharged.
He assured his fans that the surgery was a success. He added that since it was an injury caused by carelessness, he wants to be more careful from now on. He will have to wear his arm in a cast for a period of time, but he reports that he is recovering well. Ono has returned to work despite his injury.
In the current fall season of anime, Ono is playing Shun Isashiki in Ace of Diamond, Taiga Kagami in the second season of Kuroko's Basketball, Kyūma Inazuka in the second season of Valvrave the Liberator, and Eiji Shinozuka in Yozakura Quartet ~Hana no Uta~ (replacing Hideki Tasaka from the original series).
