Square Enix Files 'Rise of Mana' Trademark in Japan

Square Enix filed trademarks for "Rise of Mana" in Japan. Square Enix previously registered the "Rise of Mana" trademark in Europe in June.

The company released a card battle game called Circle of Mana on Japan's GREE mobile game platform earlier this year.

Square Enix also filed trademarks for "Occult Maiden," "Star Ocean," and "Slimeshot."
