Software publishing company MangaGamer announced at Otakon on Saturday that it has acquired the licensing rights to five adult PC adventure game titles, including Da Capo III and the next fandisc in the Shuffle! series, Really? Really!.
CIRCUS' Da Capo III game is the basis for the television anime series, which was streamed on Crunchyroll as it aired in January. The story takes place 20 years after D.C. II: Da Capo II when the Cherry Blossom tree blooms again. A new generation of characters attempt to unravel the magic of the ever-blooming tree.
The adventure game was released as an all-ages and adult version last year. MangaGamer will release the all-ages version as Da Capo III R and the adult version as Da Capo III R X-Rated. Both will be released simultaneously.
Really? Really! is the second fandisc spin-off of Navel's Shuffle! adult adventure game. The series focuses on the character Kaede, who loses her memories. Rin and the series' cast of characters travel through Kaede's memories to correct inconsistencies. MangaGamer previously released both Shuffle! and the first fandisc Tick Tack!.
MangaGamer also licensed OVERDRIVE's d2b vs DEARDROPS -Cross the Future-!, Moonstone's Princess Evangile, and Softhouse Seal's Boob Wars 2.
