Sony: The Last Guardian Is Still In Active Development

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shūhei Yoshida corrected Sony Computer Entertainment of America President and CEO Jack Tretton's statement that &TEAM ICO and Fumito Ueda's The Last Guardian game is on hiatus.
"That hiatus term—I'm not a native English-speaking person—but that's misleading," Yoshida told gaming website Kotaku during an interview at E3. "The game is in active development. Ueda-san shared updates a few months ago. Nothing has changed. My answer is, 'Yes, the game is in active development.' It's not hiatus at all. But we are not ready to reintroduce it. When we are ready, we will do that. Please wait."
Sony Worldwide Studios president Shūhei Yoshida stated in February that he is not ready to discuss the title and is "waiting for the right time to reintroduce The Last Guardian." Ueda also noted in February that even though he left Sony Computer Entertainment in 2011 to pursue his own creative passions, that he still has creative supervision over the game.
