Crunchyroll to Stream Zettai Bōei Leviathan Moe Fantasy Anime

Media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it will stream the television anime adaptation of GREE's Zettai Bōei Leviathan (Absolute Defense Leviathan) role-playing game. Crunchyroll will stream the series on Saturdays starting on April 6 at 2:00 p.m. EDT for members in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Turkey, Central America, and South America.
In the story, a meteorite suddenly unleashes evil creatures that threaten all living things on the planet. The fairy Syrup assembles the Aquafall Defence Force, with three girls of the dragon clans as recruits. The story follows Syrup and the dragon girls Leviathan, Bahamut, and Jörmungandr as they work together to battle enemies and grow up.
Cast members include Kana Hanazawa as Syrup, the talkative fairy; Saori Hayami as Leviathan, a girl who has forgotten how to smile; Eri Kitamura as Bahamut, an extravagant high-class lady; and Ayana Taketatsu as Jörmungandr, a kind girl with amazing strength.
Kenichi Yatani (Dojin Work, Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki, Renkin 3-kyuu Magical? Pokahn) is directing off scripts supervised by Yasunori Ide (Hanaukyo Maid-tai, Renkin 3-kyuu Magical? Pokahn) at Gonzo. Takaharu Ōkuma (Hanaukyo Maid-tai, Kotoura-san, Magician's Academy, Mitsudomoe) is designing the characters, and Tomoki Kikuya (Hidamari Sketch, Squid Girl) and Shiho Terada (Inazuma Eleven GO) are composing the music. PASSPO performs the ending theme "Truly" and Yuki Kanno performs the opening theme song "Hajimari no Resolution."
The anime will premiere in Japan on April 6.
