Kagamine Rin Gets Her Own Manga, Novel

Vocaloid illustrator Hiro Tamura and author sezu have released both a manga and a novel based on the Vocaloid idol Kagamine Rin. Publisher Ichijinsha shipped both the Rin-chan Now ver. 0 manga (pictured at right) and the Rin-chan Now! SSs novel on Wednesday. sezu is handling the story for both the manga and novel, and Tamura is drawing the manga and providing illustrations for the novel.
Both the novel and the manga are based on the song "Rin-chan Now!," which was written by sezu for Hatsune Miku and Megurine Luka, and featured a music video with art by Tamura (see video below). The Rin-chan Now! SSs novel is also bundling a CD.
Tamura and sezu also launched Rin-chan Now manga in the May issue of Ichijinsha's Comic Rex magazine on Wednesday.
The original "Rin-chan Now!" song was composed by Owata-P. Owata-P is also handling the editiorial supervision for both the manga and the novel.
Fans who purchase the manga or the novel at specific stores will receive an illustration card from Tamura or a custom message from sezu respectively.
