Tougeki aims to return after "preparatory period" for next stage
The official website for Tougeki, once the largest tournament for fighting games in Japan, announced on Thursday that it is going on temporary suspension this year. The executive committee explained that it has been a "tumultuous" time since 2010, but added that the staff aims to return for Tougeki's next stage after a "preparatory period."
The tournament began in 2003 and just marked its 10th year last year.
