Code Geass Released on Blu-ray and DVD Monday

Manga Entertainment will release the original 25-part series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion on Monday January 21, on both Blu-ray (pictured) and DVD. The 2006 anime (previously released on UK DVD - but not Blu-ray - by Beez Entertainment) is set in an alternate world where Japan is conquered by the brutal Britannia empire. Vengeful schoolboy Lelouch, an exiled prince, encounters a supernatural girl during a shoot-out in a Tokyo ghetto. He gains the power to lead a rebellion against Britannia, forging a new identity as a masked freedom fighter called Zero.
Amazon UK lists the sequel season (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2) as coming out on Blu-ray on DVD on March 11.)
Manga is also releasing The World God Only Knows Season Two. The comedy anime continues the story of Keima Katsuragi, a high school boy who is known as the "Capturing God" for his success at romance simulation games. Thanks to a contract with a devil, he now has to capture the hearts of real girls to catch the runaway spirits hidden in those hearts.
