I.G, Yuasa Expand Fundraising Goals for Kick-Heart Anime

The Kickstarter fundraiser for Production I.G and Masaaki Yuasa's Kick-Heart anime updated with new stretch goals on Friday. The project will extend the planned 10-minute short to 40 minutes if US$400,000 is raised by the October 31 deadline. This replaces the previous update, which would have created a second companion 10-minute short if the US$400,000 goal was reached.

The site also announced that the proposed Blu-ray Disc of Kick-Heart will include French subtitles. Those interested in translating the film into additional languages can contact the project.

Character designer for Kick-Heart, Michio Mihara, included several new sketches and background artist Aymeric Kevin shared a new color image as well.
