Avex Entertainment Reorganizes Corporate Structure

The Japanese entertainment company avex entertainment has announced that they will reorganize their corporate structure as of September 1. The company will divide their "video business" division into a "digital content" division and a "video production" division, with an advisory room also present inside the digital content division.
Spinning off their digital content division in such a way and adding a fourth distinct business to their previously music-focused structure is thought to indicate a stronger focus on digital content as the company heads into the future.
