Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days Manga to End in Japan
posted on by Egan Loo
Manga creator Shiro Amano confirmed last month that the Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days series is ending in the September issue of Square Enix's Monthly Shōnen Gangan magazine on August 11. The manga began adapting the action role-playing game of the same name in 2009.
Square Enix had planned to publish the fifth volume of the manga this month. However, Amano cautioned a fan that it may not arrive on schedule; the creator said he did not have a chance yet to draw the cover art or clean up the interior artwork. So, he anticipates that the volume will ship next month.
North American publisher Tokyopop released Amano's manga versions of Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts II, but not Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days.
