Shogakukan to release new publication related to women's mag this fall
The official website for Shogakukan's Monthly Flowers manga magazine announced this week that a new spinoff publication is planned for release this fall. The original women's magazine debuted in April 2002.
Rinka, Monthly Flowers' first spinoff magazine, launched in June 2007. Unlike the original monthly magazine, Shogakukan releases only three issues of this spinoff per year.
Monthly Flowers currently publishes manga series such as Shirokuma Café, Umimachi Diary, Un chocolatier de l'amour perdu, Kaze Hikaru, and 7SEEDS. Rinka has serialized manga such as Fushigi Yûgi: Genbu Kaiden and Neko Mix Genkitan Toraji.
