Atsuko Maeda's AKB48 Graduation Slated for August

Yasushi Akimoto, the producer of the idol group AKB48, announced on Thursday that Atsuko Maeda's "graduation" from the group is slated for August. The event will run during AKB48's concert at Tokyo Dome and a performance at Tokyo's AKB Theater the next day.
Maeda announced her upcoming departure in March.
