Fanime Hosts Voice Actress, Singer Mai Aizawa

The organizers of FanimeCon announced on Tuesday that voice actress and singer Mai Aizawa will attend the May 25-28 convention in San Jose, California.
Aizawa has voice characters in more than 35 anime, including Lucky Star's Ayano Minegishi, Mirai Nikki's Minene Uryū, Nichijō's Mio Naganohara, and Negima!'s Natsumi Murakami. Aizawa has also voiced characters in the Harvest Moon, Suikoden, Super Robot Wars and Yakuza video game franchises. As a singer, Aizawa has performed theme songs for Negima!, Negima!?, and Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan-. Aizawa will be performing the theme song for the Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan- television anime series, titled "Kimi ni Todoke," at the convention's MusicFest concert.
Other announced FanimeCon 2012 guests include animator and designer Shigeto Koyama, manga creator Kia Asamiya, illustrator/animator Mamoru Yokota, Gainax founder Hiroyuki Yamaga, vocalist Igaguri Chiba from musical group Sendai Kamotsu, novelist and comic creator Ric Meyers, author Gilles Poitras, and voice actor David Vincent.
