Supanova Melbourne On This Weekend

Supanova Pop Culture Expo's Melbourne convention is on this weekend, April 14 to April 15, at the Melbourne Showgrounds, to be followed by its Gold Coast event next weekend.
Of interest to anime fans at the convention will be various panels, traders, screenings, and cosplay, including the Melbourne finals of the Madman National Cosplay Competition. Attending as guests are voice actors Christine Cabanos and Cristina Vee, who recently performed in the English dub of Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood film, Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos will make its Australian premiere as part of the Friday night screenings.
Day passes are $30 at the door, and weekend passes including Friday night are available for $55 at the door. The event schedule and more information is available at Supanova's website.
