posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The May issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Comp Ace magazine began serialization on a manga inspired by the Vocaloid virtual idol Hatsune Miku on Monday (note: the linked website is not safe for work). Ontama will create the manga, which is titled Mikubon Vocaloid in Wonderland/Hachune Miku Kenkyūsho. Ontama previously wrote the Hachune Miku no Nichijō Roipara! four-panel manga (pictured at right), which was serialized in Monthly Comp Ace between February 2008 and October 2011.
The magazine is also starting serialization on the Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai S manga by Hamao Sumeragi and Minato Soft. JManga is currently hosting both Sumeragi's Tsuyo-kiss and Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de manga.
In addition, the magazine is beginning serialization on Yuki Azuma's (Cheer up!, Shiratama!) Danshi Kinsei!! Fureeze Jogakuin manga and Renga Kijima's (Brafman) Lens Drops manga.
