Beckii Cruel Performs New Single at October MCM Expo

Beckii Cruel, the teenage girl from the Isle of Man who became a moe idol in Japan, will perform her new single at the MCM Expo in October, the event announced. Beckii (real name Rebecca Flint) first became famous for her youtube dance videos, before breaking into Japanese singles, DVDs and television.
Beckii will appear at MCM Expo on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October. The singer's new single is called "You Can't Kiss Me" and is released on the previous Monday, October 24. According to the press-release, Beckii will also "be performing a medley of her YouTube dances and getting the crowd on stage to dance along to the popular Japanese Internet meme Danjo."
MCM Expo runs at the Excel Centre in London's Docklands from October 28 to 30. Beckii previously appeared at this May's Expo event where she performed dances and gave an on-stage interview. She said that she couldn't understand her viral fame and that living on a small island helped in dealing with the stress of her sudden celebrity.
