posted on by Egan Loo
The Japanese publisher Shueisha revealed on Thursday that its Super Dash Bunko editors will launch a new manga magazine this fall. Super Dash Bunko has traditionally been an shōnen imprint for light novels instead of manga. Some of the light novel titles in Super Dash Bunko's lineup include Kure-nai, Mayoi Neko Overrun!, Tatakau Shisho - The Book of Bantorra, Dragon Crisis!, Ben-To, Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahō, and Akikan!
One of the titles in the new magazine will be Papa no Iu Koto o Kikinasai! — the story by Mayoi Neko Overrun! creator Tomohiro Matsu which is also getting adapted into anime.
In the past 12 months, Shueisha has already launched the magazines Jump X (Kai), Aoharu, Girls Jump, and Miracle Jump. Shueisha is also merging its seinen (young men's) manga magazines Business Jump and Super Jump to create a new biweekly magazine this fall.
